Dr. Dominik Woods, D.C. has been providing chiropractic care for his community since 2018. His mission is to help everyone obtain his or her personal optimal state of wellness through honest and specific chiropractic care. He has been serving the Bay Area and Marin County since 2020, but SLO has called him back home in 2025.

 

He was born and raised in SLO County and is your favorite local. After receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition Science from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, Dr. Dom continued his education at Life Chiropractic College West. He graduated with clinical honors and became the Valedictorian of his class. In addition to his scholastic achievements, Dr. Dom has had extensive post-graduate training in Knee-Chest Upper Cervical Technique. Also, he has a certification in the Webster Technique. The Webster Technique helps pregnant women function optimally during their pregnancy and birthing experiences. He uses his deep depth of knowledge of the human body to help people of all ages. 

 

Dr. Dom suffered from chronic migraines ever since he was a child. These migraines left him debilitated and unable to enjoy his active lifestyle. Specific Upper Cervical Chiropractic Care was the first and only treatment that caused his migraines to disappear. His personal experiences with chiropractic have shaped the way he promotes wellness in his community.

 

In his personal life, Dr. Dom has a great passion for fitness and outdoor activities. He enjoys weightlifting, functional fitness, hiking, surfing, kayaking, and fishing. His wife, two little ones, and dog keeps him on his toes. His background helps him bring a mulit-dimensional approach to chiropractic care.

 

Dr. Dom believes that everyone should be in a state of wellness, so that they can adapt to the stresses they face on a daily basis. He knows that “movement is life”.
