Webster Technique

A specialized approach to chiropractic adjusting for pregnant women, specifically those with breech babies.
Chiropractic care is an essential part of a team-based approach to healthy birthing strategies.
Webster Technique is a specialized approach to chiropractic adjusting for pregnant women. It is extraordinarily effective in reducing back pain, maintaining pelvic floor symmetry and stability and, in some cases, reducing labor times. For women who have a baby that is breech, the Webster Technique is a gentle approach to gaining more room in the pelvis for the baby to turn naturally. Typically, the sacrum, SI (Sacroiliac) joints, round ligaments, and psoas muscles are addressed to allow the pelvis to move more freely.
A Webster-certified chiropractor is a particularly vital team player in any women who has a breech child. We also recommend following the exercise techniques found on spinning babies. Dr. Dom has worked closely with many OBGYNs, midwives, and doulas to help achieve the desired birth a mother wishes to have.
